Tomasz Filipczak - born on 1 April 1974 in Legnica
He completed Second Degree School of Music in Kalisz, in the piano class of Krystyna Bujakiewicz. He also completed the Secondary Technical School of Piano Building in Kalisz. He acquired his further music experiences in Silesia where he graduated in Composition and Arrangement from the Faculty of Jazz and Entertainment Music of The Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of Andrzej Zubek. 

He began working with the Kalisz Theatre as an accompanist and coach while a student in that town (Ann of Green Gables, Only in Lvov, Parades). He received a distinction at the 10th Jazz Pianists Competition in Kalisz. 

In the years 1996-1999 he co-operated with Teatr Rozrywki in Chorzów where he worked as a pianist in the orchestra, as well as an arranger in various productions of this theatre. 

After graduating he moved to Warsaw and began working as a pianist at Teatr Muzyczny Roma (Crazy for You, Miss Saigon, Peter Pan, Cats) and conductor - "Miss Saigon" and "Peter Pan".) 
He then moved to Teatr - Studio Buffo, where he still works as a pianist and co-arranger of its productions. 

He took part in numerous television shows and concerts, including : Wieczór z Jagielskim, "Europa Pa Pa" - the final concert of the 2000 Stage Art Festival in Warsaw.
He is the author of a majority of the arrangements in the "Niedziela na Głównym" show - the Gala Concert of the Actor's Song Festival - Wrocław 2001. 
He was the music manager of Miss Polonia 2004 and many television concerts and shows, including: Cierniewski Symfonicznie Rzeszow 2003, New Year's Revue 2005 TVP1, Sopocki Kabareton, 5th edition of Dancing with the Stars, Przebojowa Noc (TVP 1), Złota Sobota (TVP 1). He wrote arrangements for the Sopot Festival (2006), KFPP Opole 2008. 

He is the author of parts of the score for Show Taneczne Opentaniec, staged by the Music Theatre in Gdynia and the Opera House in Warsaw. 
He composed the music for the Czerwony Kapturek, ostateczne starcie show which had its premiere in December 2007 in Teatr na Woli in Warsaw. 
He is the author of the score for a number of documentary films, including: "A zaczęło się na wschodzie", and "Solidarność - od Zimnej Wojny do Zjednoczenia z Europą". 
He produced a number of albums, including: "Tango 3001" with songs of Astor Piazzola, Krajewski Smooth Jazz - Tomasz Filipczak&Piotr Rodowicz, Nic nie zastąpi mi piosenki, Dwa Serca - Ada Gostkowska. 

He is a member of The Robert Janowski Band.
He works with many musicians as a session musician.
